Focusing On Improving Balance

Balance gives reference to a number of ideas.  Structurally, when a system is balanced, it will function optimally.  Consider the foundation under a house, or the wheels on a car.  When everything is squared or aligned, a system works best. The same laws of physics apply to the human body. In this case, the foundation is the spine and pelvis and health/wellness is the system working at its best. Of course, the human body is much more sophisticated.

Lifetime wellness is a concept that says, “It takes time to heal and get better.”  Maybe more than one adjustment is needed to feel better, depending on the process being dealt with.  Patients must take responsibility and actively engage in the recovery process. This could involve some specific movements to retrain the nerve system or exercises to balance and strengthen the muscles; and this is part of the journey on the path to good health.
